Ameriie returns with a nostalgic sound spread all over a fire new track! It's been 13 years since her classic ballad "Why Don't we Fall in Love" and the veteran songstress proves she hasn't missed a beat. Teamed up with producer Rich Harrison, the single "Out Lound" is an upbeat, girls mantra, and dance track gifted to fans awaiting the next Ameriie album.
"When it comes to albums, there aren't any specific dates as of yet because I'm still in the middle of recording for both BILI and Cymatika Vol I. I've released three songs, mostly for the fans because they have been waiting for so long: "What I Want" is on iTunes and other digital stores and "Mustang" is available for free streaming on soundcloud and other streaming services. I released the most recent record "Out Loud" (produced by Rich Harrison) on soundcloud." said Ameriie via www.Ameriie.com.

Country music is experiencing an entire new wave with newly discovered songstress Ms. Mickey Guyton. With only a handful of black female artists to ever conquer country, Guyton will hopefully find herself listed amongst women like Linda Martell and Rissi Palmer. One things for sure she's setting the tone for this generation as a woman of color refusing to be boxed in and daring to do what she loves.
After her watching her appearance on Good Morning America this morning (March 16 2015) I knew I had to learn more about Mickey, her sound and how she wound up in Nashville, TN singing country music.
Mickey hails from Arlington Texas and moved to Nashville in 2011 to pursue her love of country music, and worked as a songwritter for three years. Now, signed to Capitol Records Nashville, she made her first national television appearance on stage at the White House during an all-star concert.
"It’s very, very humbling because if you would have asked me a few years ago if I would have pictured myself being at this point, I probably would of laughed and said, ‘Yeah right!’
But It's no laughing matter, Mickey is definitely worth a listen! Even if country music isn't you genre of choice you'll find musical value in her powerful voice and truth-barring ballads. Her single "Better Than you left me" tells the story of how she overcame heartache after a break-up. The song is sweet and lyrically driven.
